The mission of the Owatonna Gun Club is to provide a safe shooting facility for people of all ages to become comfortable and competent in the safe use of firearms. We cater to shooters primarily in southern MN and Northern IA, but we see shooters from across the Midwest each year.

The Owatonna Gun Club has hosted High School Clay Target athletes from 3-4 schools for the past seven years for spring competition and fall skills- based leagues. Combined student athlete headcount serviced has been

The Owatonna Gun Club has hosted a High School Invitational shoot for student athletes for the past four years for 7-12 grade students, awarding trophies to the top male & female participants in 7-12 grades.

The Owatonna Gun Club hosted its first ever Ladies Intro to Trapshooting sessions over the course of four evenings in the summer of 2023.

The Owatonna Gun Club hosts multiple summer league shooting options for youth, student athletes and adult shooters June-August of each year.
